The accommodation of the Oriental Siam Resort consists of individual Northern Thai Lanna style houses with luxury bedrooms having separate dressing rooms and bathrooms. All houses have wide private balconies that overlook tropical gardens with a swimming pool and a natural pond. All rooms are air conditioned and tastefully decorated in the Lanna style using local teak wood furnishings and decorations. The houses all have double bedrooms with space for an additional bed for the younger guests.

There are also larger houses with two and three bedrooms that can accommodate the larger family. Oriental Siam Resort offers a luxurious, quiet stay in a stunning Thai Lanna environment close to the center of Chiang Mai with easy access to the airport, local craft shops and markets. The resort has a classic Thai restaurant, a fitness room and conference facilities. As an owner of property in The Oriental Siam Resort you have access to tropical gardens, swimming pool, fitness/conference room and the rice barn restaurant. This is your chance to own a home in paradise with good investment potential. We will make your life easy, managing the property letting, taking care of the guests, cleaning and maintenance. The resort is scheduled to open early 2007, the first phase of six units and the swimming pool are nearing completion. Work has also started on the Rice Barn Restaurant, fitness centre/conference facility and the communal tropical gardens with pond and lazy river. The houses are substantially built all with their own stair case access to private gardens. At the front of the properties there are traditional Lanna style roofed terrace seating areas overlooking the pond and tropical gardens. The interiors are luxury furnished with craftsman built teak furnishings, flat screen TVs, DVD, broadband internet and mini bar. All units have separate dressing/beauty rooms and quality appointed bathrooms. The floorings are ceramic, or finished with quality antique polished teak boarding and the terrace areas are finished with terra cotta tiles. All units have air conditioning and attractive ceiling fans. We will help our guests make the most of their stay in Chiang Mai. As well as providing airport and train station pick up and drop off, we will organize tours to the various places of interest and help with those special purchases from the local craft factories and shops. The Owners and staff of the resort are Chiang Mai local born hence they have knowledge of the area that cannot be found in any guidebook. The Oriental Siam Resort is situated in a village setting next to a beautiful Temple with views of the Doi Suthep mountain. It is located only 10 minutes from Chiang Mai International Airport and 15 minutes from the main railway and bus stations and the center of Chiang Mai city. There are also various tourist attractions conveniently located close to the resort such as the underground ancient city, local arts & handicrafts villages, shopping malls, day & night markets and supermarkets. Within a 20-minute drive there are golf courses, hot springs and an ancient Buddhist cave. The Doi Suthep mountain is a 40 minute drive where you can enjoy the cool mountain air and visit the waterfalls and orchid farms. The elephant training camps are located in the mountains where the elephants can be seen and fed each morning before they return to their natural mountain habitat. Furthermore, there are also waterfalls, a snake farm, a monkey school, bungy jumps, dog shows, The Royal Winter Palace and the hill-tribes villages.
